The Studio Guild is a communal working environment for artists/designers/writers/and other independent workers. The goal for the guild is to provide an affordable and enjoyable workspacewhile encouraging a collaborative environment for creative activity.
THE BUILDING
The Studio Guild is located on Broadway between Walker and White Streets in Tribeca, New York. It is a 7,000 SF fifth floor loft space that will be newly renovated.
One elevator accesses the floor by key and one service elevator is available 6 days a week. Two stairs are available for access at all times.
The location is near the 1,9,4,5,6,A,C,E, and N,R trains.
THE WORKSPACE (please see floorplan)
The Studio Guild will have a kitchen, two bathrooms, conference rooms, a lounge area and library for shared use.
Ethernet cables will be provided for each share. Office equipment like fax machines and copiers will be decided on by the group and provided for shared use. VOIP phone service will be available for an additional flat monthly charge.
THE MEMBER AGREEMENT
The Studio Guild will be divided into semi-private and private office space. Needs can be accomodated as required by individual members.
All design and space planning issues are open for discussion at this time and specific needs of individuals can be addressed.
